Okay, so many ask what do I actually eat?
I have to remind myself that when I first started this journey, that I literally had no taste for real food anymore. My body and brain had been so used to eating chemically infused foods, that my brain only craved pasta, bread, sweet treats, cereal, granola, McDonald's fish filet, French fries, brownies, cookies, soda, juice, ice cream, recess, Chinese food, cake macaroni and cheese. and potato chips! . I never felt satisfied and only would crave more and more! I was always hungry and snacking.
These Food cravings, at the end of the day, all turn into sugar or contain actual sugar. Sugar is highly addictive! Isn't it sick that food is viewed as a way to make money and not as a means for fuel and nourishment!
When you get clean of Sugar and gluten you will see how grocery stores are Filled with what I view as 90% sugar! Even most organic foods in stores in fact, contain sugar. Wow, and to add to the mess, wheat has been processed so much and chemically altered so that it reacts just like sugar! Isn't it funny how you want to eat the whole cake or 6 pieces of garlic buttery delicious bread? Or 2 helpings of pasta? lol.
The flour you are eating and don't want to give up is a double dose of lethal! it turns into sugar and contains gluten.
I believe gluten is damaging to the body because of how processed the flour is. It is not in its original state. I believe natural wheat soaked and sprouting are tolerable in the body.
So when we hear sugar, it doesn't just mean that white grainy stuff. It is also all carbs! Bananas contain carbs, and they too turn into sugar, but I believe after you have broke the addiction and your body is healthy again it can handle it. So, if you look at your diet, ask yourself how much sugar am I actually eating verse how much actual real food am i eating? I know when i look back now, I see basically only sugar as my diet the last so many Years. It is no wonder my body was in such poor shape.
I think it would be most beneficial for the body to limit as much toxic chemicals, sugar, gluten and genetically modified food as possible for optimal health and healing. But obviously this isn't ideal right off the bat! I am 4 months in and could only go so long before I would cave on the cravings but by now I am 90% clean eating. I feel so great!
So don't overwhelm yourselves!
You can't be perfect. But take each meal one at a time and ask yourself if what your eating is nourishing and going to help your goal for healing? Maybe you have one specific area that you need healing in. I focused on the one that effected my quality of life most! My hypoglycemia was hindering my quality at life most, so I focused on the healing of that and then all of the other smaller problems got better along the way encouraging me more and more to continue!
Okay, so!
First, don't buy anymore sugar! That was number one on our list to start this journey! It's hard, but if you are like me and are home a lot, then you have all the means for clean eating.
I threw out all food that was not a raw whole food! If it contained gluten or sugar or was a carbohydrate or processed. I started switching things like... Sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes. We switched to raw milk from the clean farm close to us. We switched to free ranged eggs that the birds actually were fed natural bugs and grass. We started trying to buy meat from the local farmer that animals were mostly grass fed. And we try to grow as much as we can and only buy what the local farmer grows with honesty and organically. I shop once a week.
I try and plan out meals in advance.
So one turkey or chicken from a clean farm would be a few meals for the week, we get fresh meat when it's first cooked served with fresh veggies, then we put some meat away for white chilli. This is our favorite, we eat it with fresh cilantro, sour cream, cheese, fresh broth from soaking the bones for a few days. The bones break down and literally turn into liquid with the broth! It contains bone marrow and several minerals that are super nourishing!
We also like to take the chicken or turkey meat and make fresh BBQ sauce baked over the top of the meat with cheese and olives and fried up mushroom and onion!
We try to eat a few eggs of some sort every morning! They are amazing for us! I change it up. Some mornings we eat fried eggs with a lil butter or coconut oil, a piece of fried scrapple and some berries and fresh yogurt from the farm with honey added and nothing else!
I try and incorporate chai seeds with our food. Sometimes we will make smoothies with chai seeds, fresh aloe, some enzymes and berries...added raw milk and or yogurt.
We try and eat a fresh loaded with greens salad every day as well. Greens go with meat! Meat is acidic and should be eaten with plenty of water and greens for balance!
So for breakfast we had... An egg dish I love making!
I fry up in our iron skillet some butter, fresh mushrooms, onions, garlic, spinach, cilantro, sausage, chai seeds, green peppers. This pretty much works with anything you like. Some mornings left over taco meat is good in it for a zesty taco egg dish topped with some sour cream and fresh homemade salsa..and fresh avocado on the side. Anyway, you fry up all your yummy choices and then leave it all in the pan with the good what i call..PAN JUICE! Pour over the top of all of the yummy ggs and milk mixture! I let it cook for about 5 minutes without stirring and then i stick the whole iron skillet with egg in it in the oven for 20 minutes or so depending on how much you make on 375. I add cheese to the top! It is so good served with your favorite natural hott sauce, or some fresh tomatoes. Right now our tomatoes are canned from last years crop and i make it into a salsa type sauce. It is delicious and nutricious on the eggs. It is even good on your fried plain eggs :)
for lunch...
fried up in butter in a cast iron skillet, fresh steak from the mostly organic meat shop down our street...
Topped with fresh garlic, fried up mushrooms and onions and paired with a green salad with homemade dressing with fresh herbs!
The salad was cucumbers, green peppers, avocado, spinach and chai seeds.
And we washed it all down with fresh wedges of lemon and lime in our water, :)
For dinner
White turkey chilli and desert was
Fried bananas with honey in coconut oil :)
We drink a glass of milk in between meals. But clean raw milk. Store milk contains lethal properties in the body such as hormones-steroids, antibiotics, sugar, if not added it is from the all the grain the cow was fed and no grass! And to top it off the amazing bacteria has been taken out by pasteurizing it...that bacteria in the raw milk is great for our digestive systems!
We like to snack on fresh yogurt from the farm plain or with cinnamon, or even with berries!
I like to make fresh hummus with pureed chick peas, tahini, fresh garlic, olive oil and artichoke hearts. :) It is good dipped with cucumber slices, carrots, celery...it is also good on some of the meat I make etc.
It was suggested to me that when cleaning up the body and gut you should try and eat as basic as possible. Too much and your body might not be able to handle it if you are used to such bad quality food. If you have food allergies it has been found in my research that it is from gluten intolerance. Your body actually cant handle actual food anymore! So sad, I pray for healing for anyone who struggles with this. If you have a food sensitivity to any whole natural food, it most of the time can be healed by not eating gluten anymore! So, try and eat like one or two things in each meal. We do not need to eat 5 course meals. The body becomes fully satisfied with an avocado and some plain eggs. Etc. Boiling eggs are great too, you can grab one when needing a quick protein boost. Our bodies need a ton of protein. Wether you get it from meat or elsewhere.
Good luck. I would love to hear your takes on all of this from your own personal research and or experiences!

Wash wash wash!
http://www.divinecaroline.com/life-etc/home-food/produce-washing-101-how-clean-fruits-and-veggies
Right now in our house, we are eating a ton of berries and greens!!
Berries: Wash thoroughly with cold water in a colander.
Leafy greens: These should get a two-minute cold-water soak, followed by a drain in a colander. Repeat if necessary. Even if the packaging claims that your greens are prewashed, play it safe and wash them again. For whole heads of lettuce, remove the outer layer first before soaking.

Seen in this light, chronic added-sugar consumption is no less a problem than smoking or alcoholism.

Some FYIs to get you started!
First I will just start with..you may be wondering! Why should I read what this girl has wrote. She knows no more than I do. Lol. Probably not or maybe I do. It is not my intention to make anyone feel like they are a failure, or that I know more than they do. I am not trying to stir up strife or cause arguments. I am only trying to help encourage and possibly build a community discussion on how to achieve a clean lifestyle.
So I will start with my experience and achievements so far!
I at one time had such bad endometriosis I would topple over in such pain that I would be curled in a ball screaming in pain for at least an hour. These episodes took over my life! I was told what I had and my options were medication and modern medicine. I took the medication route for one month before I realized I did not like the effects it had on my emotions etc. I decided at that time to find another method. There had to be one! I then stumbled across this special diet. I did this as best as I could for one month and bam....never a moment of pain again! I was also told I probably would not have children. After I got married I was pregnant after 6 weeks without even trying. This was a few months after doing this diet. And by diet, I mean, not eating meat~ unless it was completely organic and grass fed~ no sugar, carbs, starches, no gluten, or processed foods. It was hard. But, man did it work. I had my next doctor after I healed tell me he didn't even believe without the records that I even had the endometriosis in the first place. THere was no trace of it on the scans. Ha I now have 2 children. No problems here with getting pregnant!
After I had Eli my second son, a little over 4 months ago, I ate so much sugar! I totally justified having a baby and getting to eat whatever I want. Ha, that lasted 2 months! I ate so much crap that I already had cysts grow on my ovary. I was in pain. The doctor told me if it persisted he would check in on it and I then realized...Oh my diet again has failed my body. That was the last of it. After a couple weeks of eating clean the pain left. Ha. I beat it again, lol.
Next is I had bad eczema almost all of my life. My legs would bleed I would get it so bad. I felt so horrible when I thought I had passed this onto my son, but both of us have no trace of it when eating gluten free.
Lastly is hypoglycemia. I have been diagnosed 2 times in my life with this. It is where the body becomes dependent on sugar. But, not to the point where you cant make it at all. Thank goodness it is a warning sign before it becomes permeant. Man, if i could describe to you how I felt daily. Especially during pregnancy. Man, It was awful. I could never control my blood sugar. I was told I was severely hypoglycemic. Well. when I eat plenty of protein, no sugar and no gluten, I have no problems with it! It is amazing!.

Sugar also feeds candida. Something most people associate with as a yeast infection or thrush! It's not only that! It's a huge issue and its well put in this article. I encourage you to read all articles. :)

Sugar!
You may have heard through the grape vine that sugar is bad for you. You may have even had a gut feeling that is was bad and tried to cut it back etc. You may even have tried to cut it out but had no support. It is tough. I believe it is our number 1 problem! Sugar! Understanding how extremely lethal it really is in the body is the first step!

I found that one to be pretty great. The one thing that got me was the talk about the fiber. Most people think that
Fruit is okay and to eat as much of it as you can as a replacement. Wrong! Unless you are growing your own fruit that hasn't been genetically modified and its fiber hasn't been taken out you are still just eating sugar. It is full of antioxidants and amazing qualities the body needs. But, we must remember that it is a fructose and needs to be accompanied with a good healthy dose of fiber! Flax seeds are great as well as chai seeds. :) there are many more. Foods were not only meant for pleasure but for the body! We also must keep in mind that probably like me, you have Spent most of your life on sugar. It takes time to retrain the mind and to what tastes good! We don't know what food really taste like anymore! :( when is the last time your diet consumed of fresh greens, beans, fresh eggs from a healthy chicken, fresh tastey raw milk, meat that hasn't been tampered with, genetically modified, artificially created, and/or been dosed with antibiotics, steroids, and fed only grain and corn! Our cows were created to eat grass. For all your vegetarians, I respect your research and don't judge. I myself, at this time, have found no evident research that says you shouldn't eat it. I have only weighed the benefits of eating it. Lets take flax seed for example.... We can eat flax seed all day long, but there is something about the way the chicken digests it and then the way it ends up in the egg. Studies show you can not get the Same benefits of eating the flax seed as you do eating the egg. Anyway, there are many reasons why we should have a good a decent portion of healthy meat in our diet and animal fat. Here is one exerpt from an article. I will not go too deep in this subject unless requested due to people's sensitivity on this subject.
The relative good health of the Japanese, who have the longest life span of any nation in the world, is generally attributed to a lowfat diet. Although the Japanese eat few dairy fats, the notion that their diet is low in fat is a myth; rather, it contains moderate amounts of animal fats from eggs, pork, chicken, beef, seafood and organ meats. With their fondness for shellfish and fish broth, eaten on a daily basis, the Japanese probably consume more cholesterol than most Americans. What they do notconsume is a lot of vegetable oil, white flour or processed food (although they do eat white rice.) The life span of the Japanese has increased since World War II with an increase in animal fat and protein in the diet.
Balancing your ph levels is the most important thing I feel!! But don't take this as an....I can eat all the sugar, glute, carbs as I want as long as I toss down a salad to go with it. Gluten and sugar are toxic to the body in any case! Just we are so used to sugar and gluten and have become super dependent on it! If you read the sugar article, it explains it.

gluten is a gut irritant to anyone...just some more than others! Overtime sensitivities turn into auto immune problems that are not reversible. Not worth the risk in my opinion! And there are many more issues it causes! Eating gluten in its original state...such as sprouted is completely different from eating it after it has been refined..bleached etc...we have to think about the way we process our food and how it effects the body after the change.
Milk is another one. There are good qualities to drinking a little bit of dairy in your diet. It is funny how we have this random problem with digesting milk...and we need a medication to help. Makes me laugh. You don't have an allergy because it is milk..most likely stems from a gluten intolerance and you don't know it..just like eczema...and others. And most importantly, it is is because the milk has been changed. I am speaking from experience! Not only by me but my son. He and I both had bad eczema and problems digesting milk. We do not have any problems now! With either! We don't eat gluten and we drink raw milk. The milk has enzymes in it to help you digest it. There is something in milk called lactose. The bacteria naturally breaks down that lactose in raw milk, but when you drink it pasteurized, you are now leaving your body to break down something it shouldn't have to.
So...in a nut shell!!!
Gluten and sugar is lethal lin our bodies! We should be balancing our ph levels by the foods we eat and drink. We need plenty of probiotics and enzymes in our body if not getting them naturally, then supplements. Our bodies are made up of 100 trillion good bacteria...when we take such medications we are killing them off..as well as many other factors. Balancing our bacteria is a must as well as our ph levels. We have been feeding bad bacteria in our body most of our lives and didnt even know it. Eating fermented foods are a good way to replenish our good bacteria. How do we expect to fight off bad bacteria if there is not enough good bacteria. I like to think of it like soldiers! We need to make sure they are strong and healthy to fight for our health! lol. We have not done this and for some our bodies have failed us!
